Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information Respi collects and uses personal information for the following purposes: - Service provision and operation - Member management and identity verification - Service improvement and new service development 2. Personal Information Collected - Required: Email address - Optional: Nickname, profile image - Automatically collected: Service usage records, access logs 3. Retention Period of Personal Information - During membership: Retained for service provision - Upon account deletion: Kept recoverable for 30 days, then permanently deleted - When required by law: Retained for the period specified by applicable laws 4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties Respi does not provide personal information to third parties without user consent. However, when using the AI transformation feature, data is transmitted to OpenAI as described in Section 7 below. 5. Destruction of Personal Information - Upon deletion request: Immediately deactivated, permanently destroyed after 30 days - Immediate deletion request: Available through customer support - Destruction method: Electronic files are deleted using irrecoverable methods 6. User Rights - Right to access, correct, and delete personal information - Right to request processing suspension - Right to withdraw consent Users may exercise their rights through settings within the Service or customer support. 7. AI Service Data Processing a. AI Transformation Feature - User-written records are transmitted to the OpenAI API for AI analysis. - Achievement statements generated by AI are stored within the Service. - AI processing only occurs when the user clicks the "Respi" button. b. Data Processing Scope - Data transmitted: What I did today, challenges faced, tomorrow's tasks (text only) - Data NOT transmitted: Email, name, and other personally identifiable information c. OpenAI's Data Processing - OpenAI does not use data transmitted via API for model training. - API data is deleted after 30 days (per OpenAI policy). 8. International Data Transfer a. Recipient: OpenAI, LLC b. Location: United States c. Timing and Method: Real-time transmission via API when AI transformation is requested d. Data Transferred: User-written reflection content (text) e. Purpose: AI-based text transformation f. Retention Period: 30 days (per OpenAI policy) ※ If you do not consent to international data transfer, you will not be able to use the AI transformation feature. 9. Cookies and Analytics a. Purpose - Analyzing service usage patterns and improvements - Optimizing user experience - Detecting and resolving service errors b. Information Collected - Page views, click events, feature usage - Device information (browser type, operating system) - Anonymized usage statistics c. Analytics Tools - PostHog: Service usage analytics (located in the United States) - Collected data is anonymized and not used for personal identification. d. Consent and Opt-out - By agreeing to this Privacy Policy during registration, you consent to the use of analytics cookies. - When not logged in, you can choose via a separate cookie consent banner. - Declining consent does not restrict your use of the service.
